The Oakleigh Cricket Club is thrilled to announce the signing of our new senior coach, Alex Thornhill.

Alex brings an outstanding playing and coaching resume and a proven track record of developing players at both junior and senior levels across Australia and the UK.

• ECB Sussex Premier League winner in 2023.

• Former batting coach at County Cricket Academies in the UK.

• Oakleigh JG Craig Shield Head Coach the previous two seasons.

• Academy Coach at Fitzroy Doncaster CC and one of the Head Coaches of the Dowling Shield side.

• Head Coach of Xavier College Year 10s.

• Coach at Rajasthan Royals Academy in Melbourne.

Alex’s experience, professionalism and passion will be a huge asset to the playing group, and we can’t wait to get started with him at the helm.
